Mount View Charolais was established in 1992 after purchasing six cows from Palgrove. Since then we have built our numbers up to around 100 Stud Breeders. We also run 30 commercial breeders that are used primarily for our Embryo Transfer Program. As a rule most of our breeders are Polled but its not the be all to end all in our breeding program.
Our Aim is to produce Fertile, Easy Doing Cattle with Calving Ease, Muscle, Softness and Good Growth.We predominantly use AI Sires chosen for the above attributes. We mainly use polled Sires but do utilize horned Bulls over our polled females when an exceptional horned Sire comes along. To view some of our sires we are using at the moment click here.
